Imagination
During Pilates classes you will often come across imagining. For instance, you might hear: “Imagine your spine being a string of beads, rising from a table one by one.” Or: “Pull your head high, as if the top of your head was attached to a string used to make puppets move.” Or: “When lying on your back, imagine that your morning coffee is in a cup balanced on your stomach, and that you definitely do not want to spill it.” Try to make use of these imaginings during exercise.
